QRS Detection
The QRS detection stage is performed based on the signal slope
since the derivative of the complexes is significantly higher. In
addition, this decision is also affected by noise detection.
Pause Immediate Detection
The Pause immediate detection mechanism searches every QRS
complex for a continuous-enough flat signal without waiting for a
sequential QRS. When this event is detected, a pause event is
reported immediately.
Note: Straight line segment is considered as electrode
disconnection and will not be reported as Pause.
Arc Length-Transforms
The Arc Length-transform of a signal frame represents its shape. It
increases the robustness to noise and artifacts and improves
detection of atypically shaped QRS complex, thereby improving the
sensitivity of the Tachycardia detection algorithm.
New detection of Tachycardia
This module uses peak detection criteria to detect Tachycardia
events by considering the rate of the valid detected peaks. It is
mainly used to detect wide QRS Tachycardia.
