Hill Profile Board (PCB-003)
Theory of Operation:
The Hill Profile board is only used on Integrity SL consoles. It contains a rectangular array of 7x15 LED's that comprise
the Hill Profile. All Integrity SL consoles use the same board. It does not have a processor on the board. Its data and
LED's are driven by the Message Center boards.
Functions/Connectors:
J1
Main Center (Flat flex) Co3.3 VDC power, I2C port (not used by Hill Profile board), SPI port, 10 high-
side LED drive signals, two Board ID signals, and Detect signal from Message Center
board.
J10 Chassis Ground tab.
Troubleshooting tips:
• Make sure that the flex connector is fully seated. Try unlatching the zero-insertion force (ZIF) connector, fully
inserting the flex cable, and re-latching the connector.
• Upon power-up, while the Main board’s i.MX8 is booting up, if the Message Center PCBA is the LCD version, it will
blink
LF
on the Hill Profile board.
• In Diagnostics, do the LED test to light up all LED's on the Hill Profile board.
