AUTO IDLE CONTROL SWITCH:
LF8500iE, LF7000iPL, & LF8500iEPL Models Only
This unit is equipped with an Auto Idle Control feature. The generator will automatically
switch to “Gas-‐Saving” mode when there is no power or load required. Upon demand,
the generator will enhance engine speed automatically to provide the correct electrical
power the connected device requires. The Auto Idle Control feature minimizes fuel
consumption and reduces noise levels.
Turn the AUTO IDLE CONTROL feature “OFF” when:
•
High Electrical Loads are connected simultaneously to reduce voltage changes.
•
The Equipment connected to the generator requires full power at start-‐up.
Example: Power Tools and other equipment with electric motors.
•
Generator is working at a constant rated power output.
