Pre-Operating Instructions: Generator Setup 

 

CAUTION

: Any attempt to start the generator before it has been properly serviced may result in engine failure and 

void warranty. 

 

ADD ENGINE OIL:  

Refer to the diagrams below. 

1.

 

Place generator on level surface. 

2.

 

Clean area around Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug & Unscrew Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug. 

3.

 

Fill with appropriate type and amount. Refer to Chart below for recommended oil type based on 
Environmental temperature. 
NOTE: Refer to “Product Specifications” section for universal recommended oil type and oil amount. 

4.

 

Replace Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug and tighten securely.
