Odyssey® Sa Imager

1) Start with both the computer and instrument turned off.

2) Make sure the included Cat. 5 RJ45 cable is connected to the network port on the Odyssey Sa

instrument. The network port is identified in Chapter 2.

Note:

Use only the networking cables provided with the Odyssey Sa Imager.

3) Make sure the other end of the Cat. 5 RJ45 cable is connected to the network port on the com-

puter.

4) Turn on the computer.

5) Press the power button on the Odyssey Sa Imager. It will start blinking to show that the instru-

ment is booting.

6) Press and hold the eject button during the boot process when the green scanning status light is

blinking. Make sure the eject button is depressed at the end of the four times that the green scan-
ning status light blinks.

The networking is now configured to automatic addressing and you can release the eject button.

7) Start Image Studio Software on your computer.

The Image Studio Software goes through an autodiscovery process and will now be able to find the
Odyssey Sa Imager (can take several minutes).
