Entering Symbols and Numbers
You can enter symbols or numbers by tapping the keypad in the
SYM
or
123
mode. (See “Selecting a Character Input Mode” on page 31.)
Symbol Entry
After you have selected the
SYM
mode, you can display additional
symbols by pressing the mouse key right or left. There are four sets of
symbols in total. The set you are viewing is displayed on the bottom of your
display screen (for example, 1/4 indicates that you are viewing the first set
of symbols.)
To insert a symbol:

Press the number on your keypad corresponding to the desired symbol
on the display.
