RTP strea m
RTP (Real-ti m e Transport Protocol) is an internet protocol that
allows progra m s to m anage the real-ti m e trans m ission of
m ulti m edia data, via unicast or m ulticast.
Master / Slave
> RTP unicast: When enabled the trans m ission of
the data to the specified equip m ent happens on a
network specif y ing a single address.
> RTP m ulticast: When enabled it reduces the
trans m ission load on the ca m era b y m aking the
co m puter of the sa m e seg m ent network receive the
sa m e trans m ission data. When m ulticast option is
checked then select Video Port nu m ber, Audio Port
nu m ber and Data port nu m ber.
- Video RTP port: Specif y the video trans m ission
port nu m ber used for the m ulticast strea m ing.
It is initiall y set to 8 888 and y ou can edit this
between 1025 and 65 534.
- Audio RTP port: Specif y the audio port nu m ber
used for the m ulticast strea m ing. It is initiall y set
to 7777 and y ou can edit this between 1025 and
65 534.
- Data RTP port: Specif y the VA data port nu m ber
used for the m ulticast strea m ing. It is initiall y set
to 6666 and y ou can edit this between 1025 and
65 534.
Note:
Each strea m using m ulticast needs its own a pair
of m ulticast IP address and port nu m bers to avoid
address conflict.

TTL
> TTL: This option indicates the Ti m e-To-Live of m ulticast
packets. The default setting is 7, and the allowed TTL range is
fro
m 1 to 255.
