Changing the Text Greeting
A text greeting is displayed on your phone's screen in
standby mode. Choose the phone’s default greeting
(“Sprint”), or enter your own custom greeting.

Foregrounds > Greeting

If you select
Custom
, enter a custom greeting and
press
. (See “Entering Text” on page 28.) (Use
the
key to erase the existing greeting.)
Changing the BacklightTime Length
Select how long the display screen and keypad remain
backlit after any keypress is made.

Changing the Incoming Call Display
Screen
Choose what you see on the display screen while receiving
an incoming call

Select an image and press
to view it. (Once an
image is displayed, use your navigation key to scroll
through and view other available images.)

Assign
(left softkey) to assign an image.
Note
Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk
and standby times.
