Recording
Recording from an External
Device
To record from an external device connected to this unit,
switch this unit to the external input (AV). For how to
operate the external device, please refer to the user manual
of the device.
To record a cable-TV programme
>> Preparation
• Connect the cable-TV’s home terminal / set-top box.
• Complete “External Input Audio” setting.
• Switch the cable-TV’s home terminal / set-top box to the
desired channel.
1. Switch this unit to the external input. (Refer
to “Viewing from an External Device” on
page 23.)
2. Start
recording.

Refer to page 35 for how to programme a timer
recording.
Note
• Please turn on the home terminal / set-top box before a
timer recording starts.
• During a dual recording, you can only view the currently
recorded channels on this unit.

1. Press
[TIMER REC.]
to call up
“Timer Programming” screen.

programme is skipped, the skip setting will be cancelled.
