Prepare to configure the printer

Locate the printer MAC address on the sheet that shipped with the printer. Write the last six digits of the MAC
address in the space provided below:

If your printer has faxing capabilities, connect the telephone cable.

Connect the power cable, and turn the power on.
Enter the printer information

Access the AirPort options.
In Mac OS X version 10.5

From the Finder desktop, click Apple menu

From the Finder desktop, click Go

From the Applications folder, double-click Internet Connect .

From the toolbar, click AirPort .

From the Network popup menu, select print server xxxxxx , where the x’s are the last six digits of the MAC address
located on the MAC address sheet.
