Recommendation:
grease the rubber
grommet to ease
installation.
Place the
rubber grommet on
the spherical head
anchor shaft as
illustrated.
Steel recess formers with magnet are
used if drilling holes in the steel
formwork for the fi xing bolts is not
possible. The load class is clearly marked
on the top of each recess former.
The trumpet shaped type 6152 is used
when the lifting anchor is subjected to
load perpendicular to its longitudinal
axis during the concrete-pour
(eg. horizontally installation).

When the precast element is removed
from the formwork, the cast-in
spherical head lifting anchor with the
rubber grommet still attached will
separate easily from the recess former.
The magnetic recess former can be
pulled off the formwork with the aid of
a bolt screwed into the recess former.
The rubber grommet is removed from
the cast-in HALFEN DEHA Lifting
anchor. The grommet is reusable.
Caution; Take extra care
when handling the magnets.
The strong magnetic force
may cause injury!

Precautions are always required, when
using this type of recess former in
horizontal transport anchor installation
to prevent dislodging the anchor when
vibrating the concrete (e.g. fi x to the
reinforcement or secure with spacers).
