9.6.2.6 Serial number
For use in DeviceNet, the serial number receives a serial number converted according to
CIP. CIP describes a special format for the serial number. After conversion to a CIP code,
the serial number is, as before, unique, but no longer corresponds in its resolution to the serial
number on the name plate.
9.6.2.7 Product Name
This attribute contains a short designation of the product. Devices with the same product code
may have different "product names".
