Cleaning, Care and Maintenance
NOTE: Always unplug the Evaporative Cooler from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool before servicing,
relocating, cleaning, or storing it.
Remove the rubber plug from the back of the unit and drain the water (place a bucket beneath the plug for the
water to drain into). (see above figure 1 & 2 where rubber plug is found)
Clean the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
Clean the exterior surfaces only by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Dust can be removed from the grille using a
small vacuum.
Do NOT disassemble the motor housing of this product for cleaning of internal parts, as doing so may result in
product damage and will void the warranty.
Do not immerse any part of the Evaporative Cooler in water or other liquid:
It is essential that the motor's air vents be kept free from dust and lint.
If the Evaporative Cooler is not used for long periods (e.g., over winter), it is recommended to store the Cooler
away in its original packaging in a cool dry place.
