Installing the solid-state drive
To install the solid-state drive, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See “Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover” on page 55.
2. Install the solid-state drive into the storage converter shipped with the solid-state drive. Then install the
four screws to secure the solid-state drive to the storage converter.

3. Remove the 3.5-inch storage drive bracket out of the chassis.
4. To install the storage converter into the 3.5-inch storage drive bracket, flex the bracket and align pin 1 ,
pin 2 , pin 3 , and pin 4 on the bracket with the corresponding holes in the storage converter.
