Replacing the coin-cell battery

Before you start, print these instructions. Read the important safety information first. See “Important
safety information” on page vi.

To replace the coin-cell battery, do the following:

1. Turn off the computer. Then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer.

2. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.

3. Remove the battery. See “Replacing the battery” on page 118.

4. Remove the bottom cover. See “Replacing the bottom cover” on page 120.
