Replacing a memory module
Attention

This section provides instructions on how to replace a memory module.
To replace a memory module:
1.
Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 87.
Note: For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer on its side.
2. Locate the memory module connectors. See “Locating parts on the system
board” on page 89.
3. Remove the memory module being replaced by opening the retaining clips as
shown.
