8. Put the new dc-in cable assembly in place and connect the dc-in cable to the system board.

Attention:

Do not route the dc-in cable on the hinge. Otherwise, the dc-in cable might get damaged

when you install the base cover assembly.

9. Install the dc-in bracket.

10. Install the screws to secure the dc-in bracket.

11. Reinstall the base cover assembly.

12. Reinstall the removable battery.

13. Turn the computer over. Connect the ac power adapter and all cables to the computer.
