Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is 
cool.

Replacement procedure

1.  Lay down the computer so that the computer cover facing up.

2.  Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 62.

3.  Remove the front bezel. See “Front bezel” on page 63.

4.  Pivot the drive bay assembly upward. See “Pivot the drive bay assembly upward and downward” on 

page 66.

5.  Disconnect the ThinkCentre LED cable from the system board.

6.  Remove the ThinkCentre LED cover. 

7.  Remove the ThinkCentre LED. 

8.  Install the ThinkCentre LED.
