Replacement procedure
1. Lay down the computer so that the computer cover facing up.
2. Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 62.
3. Remove the front bezel. See “Front bezel” on page 63.
4. Pivot the drive bay assembly upward. See “Pivot the drive bay assembly upward and downward” on
page 66.
5. Depending on your computer model, refer to one of the following to replace the M.2 solid-state drive.
6. Refer to the following steps to replace the type 1 M.2 solid-state drive.
• Pull out the stopper.
• Remove the M.2 solid-state drive.
• Install the M.2 solid-state drive.
