A
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
A.1 Adjustment of ground pressure relief
system
Standard adjustment of the ground pressure relief system is 5.0 MPa
(50 bar). However, it may be necessary to re-adjust this standard
pressure if the wheels underneath the rotors show too much
compaction on grounds with insufficient bearing power, or if the
rotors do not follow the ground contours properly.
Please proceed as follows for re-adjustment:
- Unfold the machine completely.
- Put the tractor’s single-acting spool valves in the floating position.
- Open the valves on the buffer ram (A, fig. A-1).
- HIBISCUS 1015 CD Profi+:
Turn the switch on the control unit to the central position.
- Operate the double-acting tractor valve, which will cause a
change of pressure (indicated on pressure gauges B).
Adjust the pressure to the required value.
- Close the valves A on the buffer ram.
A.2 Filling the hydraulic system
In case of repairs to the hydraulic system, it has to be depressurised
completely.
This can be done as follows:
- Put the tractor’s hydraulic spool valves (both single acting and
double acting) in the floating position.
- HIBISCUS 1015 CD Profi+:
Turn the switch on the control unit to the central position.
- Open the valves on the buffer ram (A, fig. A-1). Pressure will now
decrease to 0 bar.
After the repairs have been carried out, the hydraulic system needs
to be refilled.
This can be done as follows:
- Open the valves A on the buffer ram.
- Put the tractor’s single-acting spool valves in the floating position.
- HIBISCUS 1015 CD Profi+:
Turn the switch on the control unit to the central position.
- Pull the control cord of the hydraulic system or press the button
on the control box and operate the tractor's double-acting valve.
Fold the machine completely up to the transport position.
Do not operate the single-acting spool valves!
- Unfold the machine onto the ground, in the reverse order, by
activating the tractor’s double-acting spool valve.
Do not operate the single-acting spool valve!
- Repeat the aforementioned steps 10 times to ensure all air is
removed from the hydraulic system.
- Now ensure that the required pressure is applied to the system.
To do so, follow the instructions provided in supplement
A.1 “Adjustment of ground pressure relief system”.
