4 MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS
Ensure that no-one is near the machine when it is switched
from the transport position to the working position.
Put the machine into the working position as follows:
- Pull the control cord of the hydraulic system or press the button
on the control box and operate the tractor's double-acting valve.
The rotors are lifted out of their supports and the machine will
then unfold.
- Lower the rotors onto the ground by operating the tractor's
single-acting valves.
- Fit the outer tine arms.
- Unfold the safety guards and secure them by means of the locking
pin (fig. 7).
4.1
Working width
The working width of the HIBISCUS 1015 CD Profi rake can be
adjusted infinitely between 9.2 and 10.2 m by means of hydraulics.
The swath width can be varied between approximately 1.5 to 2.5 m.
- HIBISCUS 1015 CD Profi+:
Turn the switch on the control unit to the central position in order
to adjust the working width.
- Operate the tractor's double-acting valve to adjust the working
width and swath width of the machine.
- Use the adjustable stops on the ram to maintain a certain working
width (fig. 8).
When doing so, take the pick-up width of the following machine
into account.
A swath that covers the full pick-up width ensures properly filled
bales.
