Setting a parameter
• If a setpoint value (such as the setpoint plasticizing temperature) needs to be changed, pressing
keys 21/22
,
„Up“
or „
Down“
, allows the relevant setpoint to be selected.
• As long as the setpoint is highlighted, it can be changed using
keys 24/26
,
„Plus“
or
„Minus“
.
In the case of the WELDPLAST S1, four setpoints can be set:
Output volume (max. output when potentiometer is at level 5)
Plasticizing temperature
Air temperature
Air volume
• A maximum of three elements
can be shown in the working
display.
• You can access other ele-
ments by pressing the
«Up»
or
«Down»
keys
(21/22).
• During extrusion, you can adjust the output volume in 5% stages directly using the
potentiometer (3)
.
The output volume ranges from min. 35 % to the max. set value.
The value currently set is always visible in the working display.
• The value set in the working display is taken to be the maximum value. You cannot set the output volume to
more than this set maximum value with the
potentiometer (3)
. The maximum value is, therefore, typically set
to 100 %.
• If the output volume is too large with the minimum output (35 %), you must change to a filler rod thickness of
3 mm.
• If the output volume is too small with the maximum output (100 %), you must change to a filler rod thickness
of 4 mm.
