Turning off the Leaf Aptus-II Digital Camera Back

Tethered Mode

To turn on your Leaf Aptus-II digital camera back when working in tethered mode:

Plug the FireWire cable into the camera back and the computer.

If there is a compact flash in the camera back, the compact flash icon appears on
the desktop.

Turn on the camera.

Turning off the Leaf Aptus-II Digital Camera Back

Turn the Leaf Aptus-II digital camera back off in one of the following ways:

When using a compact flash and battery:

•

Press and hold the On/Off button until the light turns orange. If you changed a

setting in the Setup menu, the camera saves the new setting and then shuts
down.

When using a digital magazine:

Press the On/Off button.

When working in tethered mode:

Do one of the following:

•

If you are using a compact flash card, on the desktop, right-click the compact

flash card and select

Move to Trash

(Apple® Mac OS® X operating system) or

Eject

(Microsoft® Windows® operating system), and then unplug the FireWire

cable.

•

If you are not using a compact flash card, unplug the FireWire cable.
