General Display Explanation
This section explains the common elements in all displays.

Date and time
Displays the date and time based on the TIME SETUP settings in the system settings or
the date and time based on a time server (LV 5838 only). You can use Date and Time on
the GENERAL tab to turn the display on and off.

Time server

Time code
Displays the time code when TIMECODE SETTING on the GENERAL tab in the system
settings is not set to OFF.

Measurement signal
Displays the measurement signal selected with the INPUT key as
“AES,” “SDI A,” or “SDI
B.” This is fixed to “AES” on the LV 5837.

Format (LV 5838 only)
During SDI measurement, the input signal format is indicated here. You can use Video
Format on the GENERAL tab to turn the display on and off.
