GETTING STARTED

A few helpful hints on terms used in this manual.

LR:

  La-Z-Boy Universal Remote Control

Backlighting

:  The blue backlighting on the touch 

sensitive inlay/keypad of your La-z-boy remote.  
Backlighting turns on each time a key is pressed and will 
turn off 8 seconds after the last key is released.

Battery Low

:  If the upper 4 red device mode indicators 

flash 4 times and turn off after activating any command, 
it shows that the battery level is low.  You must recharge 
the battery pack by placing your remote into the 
charging cradle. The upper 4 red device mode indicators 
will display in a moving pattern from left to right. 

Shift:

  The shift key allows you to access a second tier 

of components with your remote.  Please follow the 
instructions in this manual.  A red LED backlight will 
indicate components 1-8. A green LED backlight will

indicate components 9-16  programmed into the 2  tier 
with the shift key. (AUX 1-8)
