MAINTENANCE
Normal maintenance, replacement or repair of emission control devices and systems may be
performed by a qualified service center or qualified individual that uses CLEVA parts. Warranty
repairs must be performed by a qualified service center; please contact your service dealer for

Occasionally inspect the tool for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts,
bolts, caps, etc. Do not operate this tool if parts are damaged or missing. Secure all fasteners and
caps prior to using the tool. Please contact your service dealer for assistance or Customer Service.
General Maintenance
■ Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from
various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean, dry cloths
to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
■ Keep all safety devices, air vents, and the motor housing free of dirt and dust.
■ Regularly clean the ventilation slot in your blower using a soft brush or dry cloth.
For repairs, use only spare parts authorized by CLEVA for this device or similar pieces matching
the technical specification. Use only high quality spare parts. Failure to follow this advice may
result in accidents or damage to the tool. CLEVA recommends using CLEVA original parts for
replacement. CLEVA original spare parts are recognizable by their reference and identification
symbol.
Before inspecting, cleaning, or servicing the machine, shut off the engine, wait for all moving parts
to stop, and remove the battery pack. Wait until the surfaces cool down. Failure to follow these
instructions can result in serious personal injury or property damage.
