SAFETY INFORMATION
■ To reduce sound levels, operate blowers at the lowest
possible engine speed and limit the number of pieces of
equipment used at any one time.
■ Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for
possible hazards of which you may not be aware due to the
noise of the product.
■ Before blowing, use rakes and brooms to loosen debris
that may be packed down.
■ In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces if possible.
■ Conserve water by using blowers instead of hoses for
many lawn and garden applications, including clearing
areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and
gardens.
■ Avoid blowing debris or pointing the blower tube towards
people, pets, open windows, or cars.
■ Use the full blower nozzle extension when blowing.
■ Never start or run the blower near flammable material or
inside a closed room or building. The exhaust fumes are
hot and may start a fire. Breathing exhaust fumes can
cause serious personal injury or death.
■ If the machine should start making any unusual noise or
vibration, immediately stop the engine. Remove the battery
pack and take the following steps before restarting and
operating the machine:
- Inspect for damage;
- Replace or repair any damaged parts;
- Check for and tighten any loose parts.
■ Clear the work area for large and dangerous objects before
each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass,
nails, wire, or string, which can be thrown or become
entangled in the blower.
