PRUNER INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL

WARNING! The cutting device will 
continue to rotate for some time even 
after moving the switch to the “OFF” 
position. Firmly hold the two handles 
until the cutting device comes to a 
complete stop. 

WARNING! Familiarize yourself with the 

on/off switch in order to act promptly 
in case of emergency. 

8. OPERATION 

HOW TO USE THE PRUNER ATTACHMENT 

1)

 

Latch the belt hook (fig. 11 item 1) onto the 

ring (fig. 11 item 2). 
2)

 

Hold the hedge trimmer on the right side as 

shown in fig.11. 

(refer to Brushcutter manual).

 

DURING OPERATION 

If a dangerous condition occurs, 
immediately switch off the engine by 
pressing the switch to the OFF 
position. 

The product is not electrically 
isolated. Make sure there are no 
electric cables or high voltage 
cables in the working area. DANGER 
OF ELECTRIC SHOCK 

 

Always hold the hedge trimmer with both 
hands. 
Cut by pressing the accelerator lever as far 
as it will go and enter into contact with the 
wood when the motor is running at top 
speed. 

8.1 BRANCH PRUNING 

- Before removing a branch, make sure: 
1) 

There is no one or no animals where the 

branch will fall.

 

2) 

Select the branch drop direction so as to be 

able to move away in the opposite direction.

 

3) 

Make sure the escape route is free of   

obstacles.

 

4) 

When choosing the drop direction, take the 

following varying factors into account.

 

a)

 

– 

Overgrown branches.

 

b)

 

– 

Branch angle.

 

c)

 

– 

Wind direction (do not use when the wind is 

very strong)

 

d)

 

– Damaged wood 

5) 

Carefully observe the environmental  

conditions described in the 

“GENERAL 

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS” 

paragraph

6) 

Cut from top to bottom as shown in fig.13-14.
