pressurized water-jet.
•
WARNING.
Do not use the machine within range of persons unless they wear protective
clothing.
•
WARNING.
Do not direct the jet against yourself or others in order to clean clothes or
foot-wear.
• When carrying out the filling/topping-up of the detergent tank, take care not to spill the liquid
onto the machine. If this should happen, wait for at least 24 hours before using the machine,
so that the liquid that may have penetrated inside the equipment has time to evaporate.
• During use:
- In case the identification plate or warning signs are worn or not-legible, please contact a
QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN
for its substitution.
- Watch over the machine at all times and out of the reach of children; in particular, take
great care when used at nursery schools, nursing homes and retirement homes, because
unguarded children, elderly or disabled people may be present in these locations;
- Grip the gun firmly because when the lever is pulled you are subjected to the reaction force
of the high-pressure jet; the value of this recoil force is indicated in the technical data table
of paragraph
“SPECIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL DATA"
(the recoil force is expressed
in
N
, where
1 N = 0.1 Kg
);
- Do not direct the water jet towards materials containing asbestos or other substances
detrimental to health;
- Do not block the lever of the gun into the always on position;
- Do not cover the machine and do not position it in an unventilated environment (remember
this especially when using the machine indoors);
- should you need to interrupt the supply of the high pressure jet and lay the gun down,
remember to insert the safety catch;
- Remember that when the machine is in
Total Stop
it is actually still on, therefore the safety
catch on the lever of the gun should be in the blocked position, so as to avoid accidental
activation;
- Do not leave the machine unattended in
Total Stop
, even for a short time: if so, place the
master switch in the
“0”
position, remove the plug from the power socket and press the
lever of the gun to release any residual pressure;
- When not in use, carry out the operations described in paragraph
“STOP"
, in particular,
never leave the machine with the plug connected in the power socket;
- The operating pressure must never exceed the maximum value foreseen for the machine
(see also paragraph
“SPECIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL DATA”
);
- Always position the master switch to
“0”
and remove the plug from the power socket if an
automatic reset thermal or amperometric safety device is activated, because the machine
could spontaneously turn on again after it has cooled;
- If a safety device is repeatedly activated, absolutely do not use the machine without having
