The user database contains a total of 22 predefined user profiles. These
cannot be deleted but after logging in with the
ADMIN
(Administrator)
system profile, they can be modified. Log-in is protected by a PIN query.
The Administrator can change the factory-set PIN, as well as the respective
stored range of functions.
3 system profiles (profile name cannot be modified):
ADMIN
(default PIN: 9999): Administrator, entitled to manage
the user database.
DEFAULT USER
(no PIN query): Standard user, automatically
enabled when device is switched on.
KEY LOCK
(no PIN query): key lock to protect unauthorized
access.
19 user profiles (profile name can be modified):
USER X
(default PIN: 1111): Individual user (X = 1 – 19), authorized
by the Administrator to use certain functions.
PIN: Change the default PIN to protect the operating unit from
unauthorized access. Define a 4-digit PIN for each user profile
required and in particular for the Administrator.
Profile name: When renaming user profiles, it is preferable to use
names that mean something. The profile should either contain the
user’s actual name or it should be named according to its range of
functions.
System profile ADMIN: Only use this profile to make changes in
the user database. Always switch to a user profile to operate the
constant temperature equipment.
The Administrator can make the following changes in the user database:
Change the name of a user profile (not possible for system profiles).
Change the log-in PIN (only for his/her own profile and use profiles).
Assign individual permissions for each user profile.
Transfer the current setting of the
DEFAULT USER
system profile to
the current user profile ([Reset] button).
