1. Remove the fiber from the collimating

assembly.

Each fiber style has a
unique method of
securing it to the fiber
input adapter. Refer to
the fiber manufa

cturer’s

information for specific
instructions.

Remove the fiber with
great care. Damaging the
fiber end may require
fiber replacement. Store
the fiber in a manner that
protects the end of the
fiber from being
damaged.

2. Take assembly to a clean area.

3. Unthread the (4) M4 SHCS that hold

the fiber collimating assembly.



Note the location of the
engagement o-ring
(PLMOR0032).

4. Remove the collimator assembly.

5. Align the collimator assembly so the

alignment pin is in line with the
alignment pin hole and fasten it to the
head using the (4) captive M4 SHCS.

6. Using a 2mm hex wrench, tighten the

M4 SHSS.

7. Center the beam in the tip orifice
