Staple Position
Stapling
By installing the Finisher, you can staple one printing at a time when printing multiple copies. See the
Help files of the printer driver for more information about printing methods.
Limitation

The printer cannot sort "Thick", "Labels", or "OHP" paper types in the Paper Tray.

If you cannot make the settings for stapling even when the Finisher is connected, the optional de-
vices might not have been attached properly. Make the proper settings for the optional devices in
the printer driver's dialog box. See the printer driver's help.

Staple positions on output depend on the print direction and feed direction. The following table
shows the staple positions.
