Fault Trip Diagnostic
Trip Oscillograph
MTX 4.5 gives user the unique advantage of analyzing the post fault waveforms of the system. After the fault, the
system waveform gets captured in the release with the trip timing and the waveform deformation of voltage and
current of the individual phases. The data remain stored in the memory of the release so as to empower the user to
check the speed and the correctness of the protection system, as well for further power system analysis.
Some of the unique points of the MTX4.5 Trip Oscillograph are:
300ms record with 10 cycles before and 5 cycles after the trip/pickup of fault
15 cycle record useful to monitor and analyze the current and voltage disturbances
