ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Wing Frame Inner
1. Place the left and right inner wing frame assemblies
on stands so the wings are level with the center
frame
( See Figure 3-7. ).
2. Be sure the 1-3/4 flange bearings are in center
frame.Install 1-3/4 thrust washers on the front side of
both front and rear center frame hinges. Slide the
1-3/4 hinge pins through aligned holes in orientation
shown
( See Figure 3-7. ) . Install the 1-3/4 thrust
washers over the threads before installing the 1-3/4-5
hex slotted nuts.
3. Secure the 1-3/4 hinge pin with 5/8 x 3 pin, 1-3/4-5
hex slotted nut and 3/8 x 2-1/2 slotted spring pin.
4. Attach the tire/wheel assembly to all 8 bolt hub &
spindle assemblies with 5/8 wheel nut. Torque to 85
to 100 ft./lbs.
NOTE
All tire/wheel assemblies are installed with the valve
stem facing outward.
5. Attach the front gauge wheel assemblies to the wing
frames using1-8 x 6 hex bolts supplied with the
assembly, gauge wheel spacers, and 1-8 hex lock
nuts. Securely tighten the mounting screws to
eliminate any slack and unnecessary wear.
6. Install the 280/70R15 tire/wheel assemblies. Torque
to 85 to 100 ft-lbs.
