3-12 WARN ING LIGHTS IN STAL LA TION
3-12.1 As sem ble lights to the light bracket us -
ing 1/4 X 1-3/4 cap screws and nuts. In sure
the wires are in the groove in the base of the
light to
ward the mount ing sur face of the
bracket. As sem ble one light for left side and
one for right side. The red light should be to
the rear with the am ber light be ing the outer
most light.
3-12.2 In stall the as sem bled lights on the out -
side of the frame just for ward of the rear disc
ad just plates.
(See Fig ure 3-14).
IMPORTANT
MAKE SURE LIGHTS ARE PO SI TIONED FOR
MAXI MUM VISI BIL ITY FROM THE REAR.
3-12.3
In stall the rear wir ing har ness be tween
the lights.
3-12.4 As sem ble the har ness ex ten sion to the
cen ter plug on the rear har ness.
3-12.5 In stall the main har ness by start ing at
the hitch and rout ing the har ness through the
hose loops to the ex
ten sion har ness. See
wir ing dia gram as shown in Fig ure 3-15.
3-12.6 In sure the har nesses are clear of any
mov ing parts and se cure the har nesses with
tie wraps pro vided.
3-13 LU BRI CA TION
The Disc Chisel must be lu bri cated be fore us -
ing it for the first time, and at regu lar in ter vals
there af ter. Use a stan dard multi- purpose grease.
( See Sec tion 4-6) to lu bri cate your Disc Chisel.
