IM POR TANT
1. Pipe seal ant is not re quired to in stall hoses
to mani
fold and cyl in ders equipped with hy -
drau lic O- ring fit tings.
2. In the fol
low ing pro ce dure, left- and right-
hand are de ter mined stand ing at the back of
the ma chine, look ing to wards the front.
3. In the steps be low, re fer to Ta ble 3- for hose
part num bers and to Fig ure 3- to in sure proper
lo ca tion of each hose dur ing in stal la tion.
4. Owner of trac tor is re quired to sup ply some
of the parts in this pro
ce dure for its proper
com ple tion. Please read through this pro ce dure
be fore in stall ing hoses.
3-6.1
In stall the hy drau lic mani fold on the
frame and se cure with 1/2" x 3-1/2" cap
screws and lock ing nuts. The mani fold mount
is at the cen ter of the frame above the rock -
shaft
(See Fig ure 3-4) .
3-6.2 In stall a 90° o- ring el bow in the bot tom
rear port and a 90° el bow and a straight
adapter in the top rear port of the hy drau lic
mani fold.
3-6.3 In stall a 90° re stric tor o- ring fit ting to the
base end of all four cyl in ders.
3-6.4 In stall a 90° un re stricted o- ring fit ting to
the rod end of all four cyl in ders.
3-6.5 In stall a No. 2 hose to the base port of
the right- hand disc ad just cyl in der and to the
top- right port of the hy drau lic mani fold.
3-6.6 In stall a No. 3 hose to the rod port of
the right- hand disc ad just cyl in der and to the
sec ond port down on the right side of the hy -
drau lic mani fold.
3-6.7 In stall a No. 2 hose to the rod port of
the right- hand gauge wheel cyl in der and to
the lower port on the right side of the hy -
drau lic mani fold.
3-6.8 In stall a No. 3 hose to the base end of
the right- hand gauge wheel cyl in der and the
third port down on the right side of the hy
-
drau lic mani fold.
3-6.9 In stall No. 2 hose to the base end of the
left- hand disc ad just cyl in der and the top el -
bow on the left side of the hy
drau lic mani -
fold.
3-6.10 In stall No. 3 hose to the rod end of the
left- hand disc ad just cyl in der and the bot tom
el bow on the left side of the hy drau lic mani -
fold.
3-6.11 In stall No. 4 hose to the rod end of the
left- hand gauge wheel cyl in der and the bot -
tom el bow on the rear of the hy drau lic mani -
fold.
3-6.12 In stall No. 5 hose to the base end of
the left- hand gauge wheel cyl in der and the
top el bow on the rear of the hy drau lic mani -
fold.
3-6.13 In stall No. 1 cou pling hoses to the ap -
pro pri ate ports in the front of the hy drau lic
mani fold (cou plers for the 1/2" cou pling
hoses on theee trac tor end must be sup plied
by the owner to match the trac tor).
CAU TION
IM PROPER RE STRAINT OF CYL IN -
DER HOSES CAN CAUSE THEM TO
GET TAN
GLED IN THE MA CHINE
DUR ING OP ERA TION.
3-6.14 Se cure all cyl in der hoses to the frame,
with the plas tic tie wraps, to elimi nate slack
and/or rub bing that could cause dam age or
in ter fer ence.
