ing time can be slightly shorter than in a conventional oven.

•  With some food (e.g. chips and similar items), we advise mixing

the food around from time to time to obtain an even cooking

result.

necessary to ensure that the food (in particular poultry) is

fully cooked through.

Removing the Basket Insert

1.  Pull the drawer (

3

) out of the cooking chamber (

7

) and place it

down.

down until you hear it engage in place.

2.  Slide the cover over the release button (

4

).

3.  Slide the drawer as far as it will go into the cooking cham

ber (

7

).

Preparing Food

1.  Unwind the connecting cable and insert the mains plug into a

plug socket.
The control panel (

1

) is activated and the field   (

12

) lights up.

2.  Place the food that is to be prepared in the basket insert (

2

) .

3.  Insert the basket insert into the drawer (

3

).

4.  Slide the drawer as far as it will go into the cooking cham

ber (

7

5.  Touch the field   to activate the rest of the fields on the con

trol panel.

6.  Either set the cooking time and temperature manually or select

one of the 6 programmes (see the “Programmes” section):

To set the cooking temperature manually, touch the field

 (Temp) (

14

) or

 (Temp) (

13

), and to set the cooking

time, touch the field

 (Min) (

the ingredients), pull the drawer out a little. Once the drawer

is slid back into the cooking chamber, the cooking process

resumes.
After the set cooking time elapses, the device switches off auto

matically. The fan continues to run for about 30 seconds longer
until all displays, apart from the field  , go out.

and place it down on a heatresistant surface.

10. Take the basket insert out of the drawer and serve the food.

Never tip out the basket insert together with the drawer!

Oil or liquid could have collected on the bottom of the drawer

and could cause scalding if it ran out.

11. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
12. Allow the basket insert and the drawer to cool down and then

clean them (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).

CLEANING AND STORAGE

PLEASE NOTE!

The drawer and the basket insert are

not

 dishwashersafe.

Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning

pads. They may damage the surfaces.

Clean the drawer (

3

), the basket insert (

2

) and if necessary the

cooking chamber (

7

) after every use to prevent the formation of

germs and to prevent food residues from burning on. Do not allow

any food residues to dry on.
•  Rinse the basket insert and the drawer with detergent and

warm water. Soak any burnt residues in warm water with a little

detergent first.

•  If the cooking chamber (

7

) and the heating element are dirty,

wipe them down with a damp cloth and use a little detergent if

necessary.

•  Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them.
•  If you will not be using them for a little while, store the barbe

cue with the hot air frying machine and all accessories protect

ed from the weather in a clean, dry place that is not accessible

to children and animals. We recommend that you cover the

barbecue with a weatherproof cover.
