Instructions for safe operation of the
smoker
The smoker must be in a stable position on a firm
substrate during operation.
Do not use in enclosed areas, or in areas covered
by a roof.
Only use fire starter this is not dangerous.
Prior to using for the first time the smoker must be
heated for approximately 30 minutes.
Cleaning / care
Naturally, occasional cleaning is necessary to maintain
the attractive appearance of the product.
Do not use abrasive agents.
Never use water to extinguish a fire in the hot
smoker.
We recommend cleaning the grates, the grease
collection area, and the smoker chambers with a
carbon grease remover after each smoking process.
With each American barbecue and smoking process
the grill locomotive takes on a typical smoke odour.
To keep this odour, inner walls of the large chamber
and parts of the smoker that are not touched by the
smoked items do not need to be cleaned.
Environmental instructions & disposal
measures
Ensure cleanliness when handling the smoker and
when disposing of residual materials. Only dispose of
residual waste in containers made of metal or non-
flammable materials that have been designed for this
purpose.
Local regulations apply for disposal.
