Field Configuration
Configure the concentrator prior to installation. Steps include:
1.
Configure the IWR radio (using Network Configuration Manager).
2.
Program the concentrator.
3.
Write network settings to the concentrator.
Required Tools
To perform field configuration, you need the following:
•
PC with two serial ports or USB-to-serial adapter.
•
Concentrator programming Kit 45-1046 (see
About Programming and Diagnostic
for more information).
•
Network Configuration Manager.
•
Hyperterminal (a communications accessory that comes bundled with the Windows Operating
System prior to the Vista release, and available free on-line).
