Pairing Your ecoMeter and Electric Meter
In order to communicate with your ZigBee-capable electric meter, the ecoMeter must
first be paired with it. Pairing is only possible once the ecoMeter has been registered
with your utility. Perform the following steps to pair your ecoMeter with your electric
meter:

1. Plug into Socket

Ensure that your device has been
registered with your utility (see pre-
vious page for more detail). This will
put your electric meter in pairing
mode so it can join with your
ecoMeter and start communicating.
2.
Plug the power adapter end of the
ecoMeter cord into a wall socket (but
do not the plug the other end into
the ecoMeter yet).
