Dispenser Installation

The installation, and relocation if necessary, must

be carried out by qualified personnel with up-to-date

knowledge and practical experience, in accordance with

current regulations.

NOTE

4-VALVE UNIT ONLY: check that the drain is closed by

gently turning the drain outlet clockwise. The drain

fitting threads in and out, and seals with o-rings.

NOTE

On installations going through the back of the wrapper,

remove the cover plate on the back of the dispenser

and thread the tubing through the lower section of the

machine and out the back.

NOTE

4-VALVE UNIT ONLY:
1.  Connect a short length of the appropriate-sized

clear tubing over the hose barbed end of the drain

fitting.

2.  Rotate the fitting counterclockwise to open the

drain.

3.  Open the doors, add distilled water mixture and

hold the clear tube until the water level rises to the

center of the hole on the pump platforms sheet

metal.

4.  Close drain by gently rotating the fitting clockwise.

The drain fitting threads in and out and seals with

o-rings.

5.  Remove length of tubing.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD

The overflow hole can be seen by looking through the

peephole in the front plate with the aid of a flashlight.

The overflow will drain to the drip tray.

NOTE

1.  Install the unit onto the counter.
2.  Remove the two (2) screws securing the grill over the

compressor deck, then remove the grill.

3.

Remove the filling tube plug from the filling tube.

4.  Open the front doors to the product compartment.

11.  Using a conductivity meter, measure the electric conductivity

of the distilled water mixture.

Carefully read this before filling the water bath tank.

In order to optimize the maximum performance of the

dispenser, the following MUST be adhered to:

CRITICAL - to maximize performance

For proper function of the electronic ice bank control

the total dissolved solids (TDS) measurements should

be 300-500 ppm.

ATTENTION

The E.C. measurement of the distilled water mixture

must be between 100 and 300 uS/cm. Below 100 uS/cm,

the compressor will not work properly and above 300

uS/cm could cause the lines to freeze.

ATTENTION

9.

Insert water line into a large bucket, and fill with approx. 5.4

gallons (20.4 L) of distilled water.

10.  Add 1/8 oz (4 g) of baking soda to distilled water and stir.

5.  Remove the drip tray and splash plate.
6.  Route appropriate tubing from the water source to the

compressor deck fill hole and

ONLY

 connect tubing to water

source.

7.

Install shut-off valve to water line.

8.  Flush water supply line thoroughly.

12.  Using a funnel or tubing, add the distilled water mixture

through the filling tube until water trickles from the overflow.

13.

Replace the plug on the filling tube.

14.  Replace the grill on the compressor deck and secure with

the two (2) screws.

15.  The installation kit contains both a straight connector (for

through the countertop) and an elbow connector (for through

the back of the dispenser). Use the appropriate connector for

the preferred set-up and securely attach the connector to the

water line.

16.

Lubricate the o-rings on the fitting and insert into the 1/4 turn

shutoff valve and secure with sliding clip.

The water bath compartment must be filled with water

before plugging in the unit, otherwise the compressor

fan may not operate properly.

ATTENTION

17.  Replace drip tray and splash plate.
