3. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
3.1 Adjustments
All adjustment and conversion operations must be carried out by Qualified Personnel.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage or physical injury caused by unqualified and
unauthorized persons tampering with the device.
Heating temperature adjustment
The heating water temperature is adjusted by turning the knob of the boiler control thermostat
2
(fig. 1),
on the control panel. Turning the knob clockwise increases the heating water temperature, anticlockwise
decreases it. The minimum adjustment temperature must be no lower than 50°, and the maximum no
greater than 85°C.
Room temperature adjustment (with room thermostat installed)
The room temperature adjustment is obtained by turning the room thermostat knob onto the required
value. This device, not supplied with the boiler, is used to keep the room temperature constant on the
setting made with the adjustment knob, reducing the energy consumption and improving comfort.
Heating output adjustment
This operation is carried out with the boiler unit working and the boiler hot.
Connect a pressure gauge to pressure point
2
(fig. 5) located below the gas valve, turn the boiler
thermostat knob to its maximum value.
After removing protection plug “
C
” (fig. 5), adjust the gas pressure at the burner by turning screw “
B
”
to the desired value (see technical data table in chap. 4).
After this operation, turn the burner on and off 2-3 times with the adjustment thermostat and check
that the pressure value is that just set; otherwise it will be necessary to adjust it again until the pressure
is at the correct value.
The unit must work at nominal power to generate hot tap water; therefore the adjuster screw
“
A
” of fig. 5 must be used only for minimal variations in gas flow, compensating different supply
pressures from the mains.
