Operation troubleshooting
Symptom
Cause
Remedy
Pump does not turn on
Timer slide switch is set to “OFF”
position or timer clock is not
programmed to allow operation.
Set the slide switch to the “ON”
position or program the timer clock.
Water at the valve is already at the set
temperature and does not require
pump operation.
Pump will turn on when the water at
the valve cools. Verify the
temperature setting on the pump.
Outlet has no power
Check that there is power at the
outlet. Make sure the outlet that the
pump is plugged into is not
controlled by a wall switch.
GFCI is tripped.
Verify the “TEST” and “RESET” of the
GFCI outlet that the pump is plugged
into.
