CONVEYOR BELT SPEED
Belt speed adjuster
The speed of the belt can be
adjusted to between 6 and 30 feet
per minute.
The speed is infinitely variable to
suit the various applications to be
sanded. It is a matter of experience
when selecting the correct speed.
Change the speed by rotating the
belt speed adjuster
while the motor
is running. Clockwise decreases
the speed, while counterclockwise
increases the speed.
Note. Never adjust the speed
while the conveyor motor is not running, as this will cause
damage to the machine.
Belt drive gear box.
The belt drive gear
box is filled with oil.
As the oil heats, it
expands and causes
pressure within the
gear box. To relieve
this pressure, there
is a small hole on
the side of the red
bolt. To ensure there
is no leakage during
shipping, the hole is
sealed with a small
plastic pin.
Before
the machine is run,
this pin must be
removed.
This will
allow the oil to
expand without
causing damage or
leakage during use.
