In order to preserve our environment and our health,
disposing of electrical appliances at the end of their
lifetime must be carried out in line with very specific
rules that require the contribution of all concerned,
whether supplier or user. That is why your appliance,
as indicated by the symbol that appears on its information label,
must under no circumstances be disposed of in a public or private
waste disposal unit intended for domestic waste.
As part of its disposal, it is your responsibility to deposit your appliance
in a public collection centre intended for the recycling of electrical
or electronic equipment. To obtain information about the collection
and recycling centres for obsolete appliances, please contact the local
authorities in your region, the household waste collection services
or the shop in which you purchased your appliance.
INSTALLATION AND USE
FIRST USE

Ensure that you carefully remove all the protective elements when
unpacking your appliance.
*
Place your appliance on a flat surface.
*
We advise cleaning the plates before using them for the first time.
Use a little hot water and a sponge. Dry thoroughly.
*
A new appliance may smoke a little when used for the first time.
To reduce this phenomenon, proceed in the following manner:
heat up the appliance with the lid open for
10
minutes, then let
it cool for around 30 minutes.
DAILY OPERATIONS

Fully unwind the cord.
*
Plug in the appliance, with the lid closed. The red light comes
on when you switch the appliance on using the on/off button.
*
When the ideal cooking temperature is reached, the green light
comes on and a sound signal will alert you to this. You can begin
cooking after greasing the plates. Place your toasted sandwiches
in the moulds intended for them (
4 sandwiches at a time) and
choose the desired cooking time by pressing the “-” or “+” buttons.
You can add up to
15 minutes of cooking time. The time is counted
in minutes. During the final minute, the time is counted in seconds.

Close the appliance by pressing down the cover until you can close
the locking clip and press the on / off button.
