B – Commissioning
❖
The appliance must be unplugged from the mains
❖
Once the appliance is assembled, it may be connected to
the mains.
❖
Place the fruits (see “preparation advice”) in the opening of
the plastic cover and set a speed (1 for soft fruits or 2 for
hard fruits, see chart on page 56).
❖
Press
lightly
and
uniformly
with
the
pusher.
It
is
recommended that you push slowly to extract maximum
juice.
❖
Put the appliance back in position “0” as soon as the juice
is over.
❖
It is recommended to empty the pulp collector pan
regularly. To do this, place the appliance in position “0” and
remove the pan carefully.
❖
IMPORTANT: do not let the pulp collector pan overflow as
this may damage your appliance.
C - Maintenance:
❖
Before cleaning your appliance, check that it is properly
unplugged.
❖
Before folding the safety bar, remove the pulp collector
pan by tilting it slightly.
Removable parts:
❖
Once your appliance has been dismantled, immediately
rinse all removable parts in order to prevent pulp from
drying up.
❖
Use only hot soapy water. Never use abrasive products.
❖
Clean the filter with a brush for dishes. Make sure that all
micro-perforations are properly unblocked as this could
otherwise reduce the efficiency of your appliance. If,
however, you find it difficult to unblock all the micro-
perforations, let the filter soak for 10 minutes in hot soapy
water. Examine the rotary filter, if it is damaged, do not use
the appliance any more.

Food can lightly stain the plastic cover of your appliance.
To remove this staining, you can dip the cover in hot water
mixed with a little lemon juice.
❖
Dry all parts properly after cleaning.
❖
IMPORTANT
: never put the filter or the pusher in the
dishwasher.
Motor unit:
❖
Clean the motor unit using a damp cloth.
❖
IMPORTANT
: never dip the motor unit in water
CAUTION, when the appliance is operating:
- Never open the plastic cover
- Never put your hand or any accessory other than the
pusher in the feed tube.
- Never operate the juicer for more than 60 seconds
continuously when using speed 2 and when the
pressure on the pusher is too large.
