ATTENTION!
• All parts must be adequately secured against slipping
while being transported in car, delivery van and so on!
• Always transport and store the machine without dust
bag (FIRE DANGER)! Store used dust bags in a non-
combustible container!
6.1 DISMANTLING THE MACHINE
For transport, the machine can be disassembled into three parts:
guide tube, motor and machine housing. During manual transport
over roads and pavements, to protect the wheels and sanding
drum, use the TransCart (part number in Section 11, Spare parts ).
1 Switch off the machine and pull the power plug out of the
socket!
2 Remove the dust bag from the machine and empty the
contents ( Section 5.4, Emptying the dust bag ).
3 Turn the lowering lever at the handle downwards (Fig. 23).
4 Dismount the lower rod from the lifting fixture (Fig. 24). Open
the wing nut (Fig. 25, 1.) and pull the guide tube out of the
machine housing (Fig. 25, 2.).
