4.2 CONNECTING THE MAINS SUPPLY
1 Lift the sanding drum off the floor by turning the lowering
lever at the handle upwards (Fig. 12).
2 Combine the motor cable with the extension cable (Fig.
13, 1.).
3 Fasten the strain relief ring on the extension cable (Fig.
13, 2.). Mount the strain relief ring on the cable support
(Fig. 14).
4 Plug in the extension cable to a adequately fused mains
socket with PE contacts.
Observe the applicable regulations and legal require-
ments for your country!
4.3 SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE
ATTENTION!
• Never switch on the motor unless the sanding drum is
raised off the floor!
• Never switch on the motor before tensioning the sand-
ing belt!
• Let the machine not run unattended!
4.3.1 MACHINES WITH THREE-PHASE AC MOTOR
(MAINS VOLTAGE 400 V)
1 Lift the sanding drum off the floor by turning the lowering
lever at the handle upwards (Fig. 12).
2 To switch on the motor turn the switch button to position
-START- (Fig. 15) and release the switch button. The switch
button will then automatically move to position -1- (Fig.
16).
