Electric Kettle
Cleaning and maintenance
Note! Clean the kettle only when it is cold!
1.
Before cleaning, remove the kettle from the power base.
2.
The outer part of the housing can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
3.
The interior of the kettle can be cleaned with special kettle cleaning agents or a solution of
water and vinegar.
a.
In order to do this, pour the cleaning agent or solution into the kettle.
b. Turn the kettle on to bring the contents to a boil.
c.
Pour the boiled solution or cleaning agent out.
d.
If necessary, repeat.
e.
At the end of the cleaning, pour water into the kettle, boil and then pour out.
f. The kettle is ready for use.
4.
If you are going to clean the base of the kettle ALWAYS UNPLUG IT BEFORE CLEANING
and make sure it is thoroughly dry before connecting again.
Descale your kettle regularly. Using kettle with heating element covered by scale may
cause damage.
