5. Put the sheet of paper with the tape pasted   

through outside [Tape Guide Roller] and                                                                              Paper 

[Laminating Roller] and draw it out straight                                                                          Holder 

from underneath [Paper Feed Pressure Roller].   

Place the paper on [Laminating Roller].                                                                            Paper Feed

6. Lower [Paper Holder] and hold it in position                                                                        Gear 

with [Paper Holder Lock Lever] while lightly   

pulling the paper to prevent slackening of tape.   

If the [Paper Holder] does not come down all   

the way and cannot be locked, turn [Paper   

Feed Knob] clockwise to get the gears engaged                   

so that the holder will come down and get locked.

5-2    SETTING PAPER 

Notes: 1. Note that papers set in the unit will be laminated one by one from lower end. 

            2. When papers are stack with uneven ends, front and rear in particular, it might 

cause improper laminating. 

            3. When papers are stack with uneven sides laminating may not be straight. 

            4. Do not set more than 100 sheets of paper at a time. 

            5. When papers are curly limit the number to 70 sheets. 

Explanation now refers to when the tape is correctly set. 

Width  of  paper  may  be  adjusted  by  turning  [Paper  Width  Adjust  Knob]  on  the  back  of  [Paper 

Holder]. It may be done manually with the [Paper Holder] set in position. 

Set papers by opening [Paper Holder Cover] after having locked [Paper Holder].
